As lockdown continues to ease the need to maintain the highest of hygiene standards only increases.
Consequently, we are very pleased to be able to offer these automatic hand sanitiser dispensers that combine with a digital display. The units perfectly meet the need to both provide the sanitiser service and promote its use at the same time.
In the coming months events organisers, venues, exhibitors etc will be expected to provide this service and this is an ideal solution.
Dispensers can be wall mounted or with their own stands for portability and quick installation. The screen can easily be programmed to display key messages, your logo etc.
Short term hire is not a problem.

These difficult times have caused a major re-think for so many people and businesses. SP Events is certainly re-evaluating everything and trying to understand what the future holds. Things may be difficult at the moment but the old adage 'every problem has a solution' is in the forefront of our minds currently.
In our opinion there will be a very different world that evolves in the coming months and years. Of course face to face human interaction will continue and we will continue to supply activities and entertainments for those occasions. However, Virtual Events are undoubtedly here to stay and we are rapidly developing some entertaining products and services.
We have already launched a selection of entertaining Virtual Teambuilding Games and there are more exciting ideas in development. The fun and games includes:
- Treasure Hunts
- Virtual Quiz
- Murder Parties
- 007 Training!
These are fun, innovative, engaging and entertaining experiences, professionally presented. Not to be confused with home made offerings, although we salute the many people delivering these right now.

The VR ride experience is dramatically enhanced by physical movement aligned with the visuals. An incredible Roller Coaster ride, for example, is going to be really scary!

Earlier this year we were approached to design and build an antique style handsteady buzzwire game for the National Trust. The result is pictured here. Suitable for one or two players, the bendy wires are in the shape of Tynetesfield House, near Bristol, SW England. The game can be seen there throughout much of 2018 (click here for venue details)

SP Events specialises in supplying novel interactive games and activities and we never know what our clients will ask for next.
For example our highly entertaining ferret racing experience was recently enjoyed by partygoers on the lawns of Kensington Palace. Ferret racing is always a great hit and is increasingly popular for wedding parties.

Timico, the information and communications technology provider and sponsors of the Cheltenham Gold Cup chose our 4 player roll a ball Horse Racing game for their recent exhibition in Harrogate. It was such a success that they immediately re-booked for another exhibition later in the year.
This great horse racing game is perfect for all kinds of promotions and events, with numerous ways in which it can be customised. e.g. why not race with something specific to your business e.g. cars, dogs, your product .....

Our increasingly popular touch screen table games are perfect for exhibitions and trade shows and we are now delighted to be able to offer a bespoke game design service. If you have an idea for a unique multi touch game for your next event then please just get in touch and we will take it from there.
CG Global were delighted with the game we delivered to their recent Paris expo. It featured a 'drag and drop' challenge, where players tried to position images of their wind farms in the correct locations on the map of Europe.

When BIC contacted us asking for bespoke Scalextric style cars we were only too happy to help. These Tippex Pocket Mouse racers were the result. They looked great and proved a big hit at their promotional event. So much so that they immediately re-booked for their next event.

Ryan Direct Group were absolutely delighted with the results they achieved when they booked the 4 player roll a ball horse racing game for the recent BIBA 2015 conference and exhibition at the Manchester Central convention centre.
They chose the virtual racing option, but it is also possible to have 3d horses racing on a track. Either way this is a great game for live marketing, corporate parties etc.

It's been a busy couple of months!
Team building games, fun days, exhibition stand attractions and parties around the UK. We were delighted to be involved with the hugely successful Grand Depart of the Tour de France, with a cluster of games, including the giant dinosaur kits, a climbing wall and the very popular and amazing caving experience all attending the Meadowhall Fan Fest.

Best Stand Award
It was a delight to see one of our clients win Best Stand award at a recent exhibition. They had chosen the striking and impressive Photo Pod to help attract visitors and enhance the overall appeal of their stand.
A 'very well done' to the stationery division of Newell Rubbermaid and we like to think we played a small part in their success.

It's great to now be able to offer a range of games on 50" touch screens, with options to customise and brand both in the games and on the surrounds.
We know this is going to be extremely popular for exhibitions especially, but also for parties and celebrations of all kinds.
We plan to expand the range and variety of games in the coming months so please do keep an eye on progress.

The response to the re-brand has been tremendous. There have been many very positive comments, with people saying not only do they like the new look but they also find the site easy to navigate and informative. It's very re-assuring to know we got those crucial elements right!
Not surprisingly perhaps, enquiries and bookings have risen dramatcially.
Business continues to expand across the board, with bookings for exhibition stand attractions especially strong. It's also good to see evening events and outdoor activities also strengthening.
All in all, 2014 is looking good.

THE RE-BRAND
We're undertaking a major makeover! Searchparty becomes SP Events
It's been a big effort over recent months to get everything ready and we're delighted with the results. We hope you are as well.
If you're a new visitor/customer then obviously you won't be aware of all the changes. However, if you're an existing customer of Searchparty, our old name, then we sincerely hope you'll like the new name and website.
Revamping the website was essential, so that was just a question of getting on with the task. Deciding on whether to change the name was not so easy. 'Searchparty' has served us well since 1988, but time has moved on and a more descriptive name is more appropriate for the digital era. So in comes 'SP Events' and we look forward to piloting the new ship across the oceans of fun and entertainment that ... Whoa! Let's not get carried away here.
Some pages are still being loaded on to the site so please accept our apologies if something is missing. We're loading as quickly as we can. Plus, there will be many more entertainments and activities appearing over the coming months as the offering expands. Please do bookmark us, sign up for our newsletters, or contact us with an enquiry.
